Dana Walenta, NP-C
Nurse Practitioner

Dana Walenta is originally from Wisconsin. A love of the mountains and the mountain community brought her to the Vail Valley in 2006. A passion for helping people led her to pursue a career in nursing. To expand on her medical knowledge and experience, Dana went back to school to earn a master’s degree as a certified family nurse practitioner in 2015. After spending several years working in post-operative pain management, Dana joined CMM as part of the Urgent Care Department. She also sees patients at the Castle Peak Senior Life facility, along with Stewart Greisman, DO, Keith Rapp, MD and Carly Kleiman, PA-C.

Like many mountain residents, Dana loves snowboarding and mountain biking. She also likes to get away as much as possible and travel. She and her husband took a trip around the world for their honeymoon!
