Biography

Dr. Ganiban was born and raised in suburban Philadelphia, PA, where his father practiced internal medicine for more than 40 years. Dr. Ganiban says of his personal philosophy regarding his patients, "I learned from my father that every patient deserves the benefit of all of my training, experience and empathy. I expect and demand my very best effort every time, for every patient. I sincerely love what I do, and I treat my patients like close friends and family. I appreciate getting to know them and doing everything in my power to help maintain and improve the quality of their lives."

Dr. Ganiban's wife, Patricia LaFleur, M.D., is a retired ophthalmologist who enjoys a variety of adventures from gourmet cooking, reading and learning about history, and competitive sports. The Ganiban's have two sons and make family time a top priority among their varied interests and commitments.

Dr. Ganiban commonly treats diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, age-related macular degeneration, flashes and floaters, macular edema, retinal edema and more.
